Eastern Ukraine_Line of Contact, Line of Separation

The factsheet looks at how the separation between the Government and Non-Government Controlled Areas of eastern Ukraine, through the so called “Line of Contact”, hinders freedom of movement and affects people’s access to livelihood opportunities and essential services. By analysing the current legislation, the factsheet also explores how decision makers and parties to the conflict can improve the situation regarding movement. This would impact millions of people who are affected by conflict in eastern Ukraine. The factsheet is produced by a group of NGOs which provide humanitarian assistance in eastern Ukraine: People in Need, ACTED, REACH, Médicos del Mundo, Right to Protection, and the Ukraine NGO Forum, with the support of ECHO.
