People in Need Langhans

Langhans

Located in the former Langhans Gallery at Vodičkova street No.37 (next to the Wenceslas Square), the People in Need Centre is a place for inspiration, encounters and discussion for anyone concerned about the today’s world. The Centre was formally inaugurated in May 2012.

Programme

Follow the Centre's programme on our Facebook profile www.facebook.com/LanghansClovekVTisni.

Rental

Non-profit organizations and initiatives can rent the Langhans Centre, the People in Need Organization’s premises, for lectures, workshops, and press conferences. There are three rooms available, all equipped with projection screens with a capacity of up to 50 people. Further information about the offer and price list can be found here.

If interested, please contact us at +420 734 428 231 or send an email to langhans@clovekvtisni.cz.

Café

The café with a free Wi-Fi access is an intrinsic part of the Centre. Thanks to its central location, it is an ideal place for business meetings as well as friendly gatherings, and a refuge for students waiting for their next lecture.

The café is open from Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. We are closed on Sundays. In case the main hall is used for events, private or public, the visitors may make use of the bar area only. The café serves fair trade coffee of Mama Coffee brand which, we believe, you’ll enjoy just as much as the programme of the People in Need Centre.
