Every year the One World Human Rights Documentary Film Festival screens over a hundred quality documentaries from all over the world. The topics addressed range from political scandals and authoritarian regimes through sustainable development to social and environmental themes. Just as important as the film screenings are the following debates with guest filmmakers, protagonists, activists, and Czech human rights experts.

One World has grown into the largest human rights film festival in the world. In its second quarter of a century, it continues to showcase documentaries that move society. In 2024, it will present a timeless visual identity and include fictional films with human rights themes. In line with this, it is also changing its name, which will now read One World International Human Rights Film Festival.

The festival is held in Prague in March and subsequently in more than thirty other cities around the Czech Republic as well as in Brussels.

The twenty-sixth edition of the festival will take place from 20 March to 21 April 2024 in more than 40 cities across the Czech Republic.
