Amer was lucky a nono-formal school had just opened when they arrived at the camp. Amer studied 1st and 2nd grades in his village and at the camp school he joined the 3rd grade class. Amer managed to continue his learning at the camp even when the COVID-19 restrictions were put in place, through a distant learning methodology that PIN developed.
