PIN's Club of Friends

Become a member of the People in Need Club of Friends. It is the best and the easiest way how to help together with us.

The donations that are gradually collected in the Club of Friends allow us to help as soon as possible to the victims of natural disasters or wars. When an earthquake strikes, we do not waste the precious time by raising money little by little, thus we are able to react immediately, at moments when taking swift action means saving more lives. One half of your contribution will be used for humanitarian aid, one quarter for human rights defence and the last quarter for organizing the assistance and providing for proper functioning and continued development of the foundation.

Thanks to regular contributions from the members of the Club of Friends, we have been able to help the refugees in South Sudan or Syria. We work on the Phillippines which were badly hit by a typhoon. After political upheaval in Ukraine we sent medical team to provide medical treatment. For more specific information, please see the News section on the right.

If you are able to support us, please do not hesitate. It is easy to join the Club of Friends – you only need to fill in the APPLICATION. In return, we will send you our bank account details and it will only take you a few minutes to set up a standing order through Internet banking or while visiting your bank.

Most of the members send 200, 300 or 500 CZK per month. Do not be afraid of commitments. You may cancel the standing order any time just as easily as you placed it.

What will be provided for your contributions?

In the case of natural disaster (floods, earthquakes) or some other unexpected events we are able to buy for example:

Food for a family, which survived the earthquake, for 10 days.

Canvas and ropes for provisional shelter.

Cleaning pills for 10 000 litres of water. They can avoid epidemies after flooding.

Why become a member:

  • Even small amounts sent on a monthly basis can save lives.
  • When you see a report on a devastating natural disaster on TV news, you can be sure that it is just there where your money will be helping.
  • You will always get a feedback on how and to whom your donations have helped.
  • You will become a part of a community of more than 13,000 donors and you will get access to our events.
  • Upon request, we provide our members with a confirmation for tax deduction, which may be used not only by entrepreneurs but also by employees.
  • You will obtain tickets to the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.
