People in Need social workers have been operating in Přerov since 2007. Currently we provide help to individuals and families in difficult life situations such as unemployment, substandard housing conditions, the issue of debt etc. We also run a pre-school low-threshold club where we prepare children for successful entry into nursery school and the first year of primary school. For older children we provide career guidance.
As part of our support service for adults in the Přerov area we provide individual and family consultations, debt advice and resocialization programmes. Integral to the work is community work which focuses on an entire group of people that works together with a community worker in the effort to improve their living conditions. This specifically the Kojetínská and Husova street area.
Consultation hours for the public without an appointment: Monday and Wednesday from 8 a. m. to 12 noon.
Outside these hours, the workers of Přerov branch can be contacted by phone from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. to arrange a meeting.
