People in Need (PIN) - Centre for Human Rights and Democracy is seeking for a full-time position to join our Latin American Team. This role will support our programs in various Latin American countries.
Starting date: upon agreement
Location of work: San Jose, Costa Rica
Duration: full-time, one-year contract (with 3 months probation period)

Main Duties & Responsibilities
General- Maintaining financial security by internal controls;
- maintaining an orderly accounting filing system;
- compiling with local and foreigner compliance framework;
- assembling information for financial statements and external auditors;
- providing clerical and administrative support to management as requested;
- support financial and program staff.
- Petty Cash Clerk – custody and transactions processing, support and archive;
- invoice Clerk – uploading, completing evidence and archiving;
- bank Clerk – setting up payment orders, importing and issuing bank statements;
- contract Archivist – completeness and filing;
- logistics and Procurement Clerk – processing purchase requests based on guidelines, procuring general utilities and supplies for office, inventory of assets;
- watchdog – screening and reporting relevant counterparts for contracts and payments.
Requirements / Skills
- Be citizen, legal resident or in proven migration process with the right to work in Costa Rica;
- degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience;
- experience in using ERP software;
- fluent written and spoken Spanish and intermediate communication in English;
- good management and coordination skills;
- analytical and problem-solving skills;
- ability to work independently;
- excellent interpersonal skills;
- disciplined, consistent and organized personality;
- effective time management;
- high attention to detail and precision;
- interest in human rights.
